braun blender parts Reports Blog

I needed a new blender and based on reviews I was excited to get this one. I make smoothies almost every day. I put all the ingredients in, turned it on and the blades were spinning but not pulling the mixture down. I had to open the jar and “help” stir the mixture around. Soon after, I smelled a burning odor. That burning smell is there every time I use the blender regardless of the speed I choose. There has got to be a better choice out there for $50!

  • Hannaford :

The replacement blade broke after one use. The bearings started leaking. No more replacement blades for me, I’m switching brands.

  • Chadwick :

I am just happy that the company makes replacement blades so that you don’t have to buy an entire new blender. The fact that the “teeth” at the bottom that make the blender turn are plastic is not good. It will be a matter of time and this item will break again.Nancy from Naperville, IL.

  • Hirsch :

I have to say, this “replacement” blade is constructed better than the original one that came with my Braun blender — the teeth on the back of it just look and feel alot more sturdy. The original blade’s teeth ripped out (I make alot of smoothies) which didn’t make me very happy, but I have to say this is the first time I have ordered a replacement part for anything that I thought was better than what I originally had. This company should make their own brand of appliances!

  • Morrison :

My original blender blade crushed from the bottom side, where it sits on the machine itself. The new one serves the purpose of using the blender again. From my perspective the blade itself looks thiner and lighter in weight than the original. Other than that it hits the spot.

  • Allah :

I went through three of these before the motor died. Get another blender instead.

  • Neville :

I bought this blender twice because it is very useful and handy. Yet, it breaks really fast. The motor suddenly stops working. It happened twice, I bought it, used it, then after a year (as if it’s an expiration date or something) it stops working! I will try another one, a stainless steel one this time as I realized I mostly use it for soups. Hope it’ll last longer.

  • Chiechi :

This Braun immersion blender worked beautifully the first time I used it; I made a creamy potato soup that was simply to die for. However, the second time I used it, to chop nuts using the chopper attachment, the motor burned out completely in a matter of minutes. Then I discovered that Braun has discontinued the product and all others like it, so I was unable to replace the motor. The service representative was very nice and said to return the product for a refund, which I did, and which I have not yet received. My advice is choose another brand, no matter how good the price is on this one. The concept, however, is wonderful.

I’ve had one of these for years and I would not live without it. It emulsified salad dressings better than any whisk and there’s no need to “dribble in” the oil. Just put all ingredients int he bowl, turn it on and in seconds you have perfectly emulsified dresssing.

I like the size of the chopper unit too…mine lives on the counter top without being too obtrusive. I bought a Braun hand mixer that came with a slightly bigger chopper and I hate it. The bowl is too big for small quantities such as salad dressing and takes up too much space ont he counter and in the fridge.

I mainly use the chopper, but the stick blender comes in handy any time I want to puree soups or smooth out gravies. You simply put the stick blender into the pot and puree in a second. It’s so much simpler to use and clean up than a regular blender.

Bought this Braun MR430HC Multiquick Deluxe here on Amazon in March 200 8 and we were quite happy with it until recently, when it simply stopped working. We did not use it that often, and are surprised, given Braun’s general impression of quality and durability.

It comes with an array of handy accessories and seemed like a pretty fail-proof design (it only has one button).
You can detach the tip and wash it in the dishwasher, which is great.

  • Hannaford :

Truly a kitchen essential. Makes short work of so many kitchen tasks, clean-up is simple. It has completely replaced my traditional blender except for big pitchers of margaritas. Chopper/Spice mill and whisk attachments are also great. I have used it frequently for years. Finally wore out the Chopper attachment. Back then I paid about $28 (on Amazon). I have also given 3 or 4 as gifts.

BUT… you needn’t pay the outrageous price quoted here. (Note: sold here by an Amazon partner). Google “Braun MR430HC” for a better price: under $50

  • Chung :

Very good product. I would recommend it for those who want a very good blender.

  • Franklin :

This is the second Braun blender I have had. I had to replace the first one when the plastic teeth in the blade broke off. Now the same thing has happened. This blender cannot handle anything that uses frozen fruit or ice. I’m done with Braun. Forever.

  • Johnsen :

Opened up the box of my Braun MX2050 Blender today for the first time .
It broke on the first attempt .
No more Braun products for me !
