Hot blender by kitchenaid Tips And Srategies
I spent a lot of time researching a new blender for daily use. I bought this to replace an old basic Hamilton-Beach that struggled with a single smoothie. I absolutely love it, for all the reasons others have mentioned. It works powerfully and quietly, and has these features that just delight me:
- Lightweight but strong container, making it easy to carry a blender full of smoothies to the table.
- Clever spout design lets you easily get out thick concoctions without having splotches fall out.
- Super-easy clean-up with the contained blade design.
- Sealed button panel, so the inevitable spills won’t damage the works.
- Compact height - it fits under a standard-height upper kitchen cabinet, unlike the more expensive Breville I originally bought. This is important for anyone who plans to leave it out on their counter.
- It looks nice enough to leave out on the counter, and I can use it to take on tasks for which I used to lug out the Cuisinart.
If you are using an older blender, this would be a wonderful update.

waring bar blenders Interesting Knowledgebase
This is my second purchase for a Waring classic blender. My first I owned & used daily for over 15 years. When it finally died I looked at other brands & models but went back to the Waring for its simplicity & power. I like just turning it on & off with a high & low speed.
My only complaint is the pouring spout. The shape it wrong & liquid dribbles down the glass. But it works so well that I deal with it.

kitchenaid blender ksb580 Interrelated Tip
Replaced an 30 year old Oster blender with this KitchenAid - and I love it. I use it 2-3 times a week.
Pros:
1. Power: It makes terrific smoothies and handles both fresh and frozen fruit.
2. Appearance: I had originally planned to keep the blender in my appliance garage. But this blender is so attractive (brushed nickel finish with black top), that I’ve left it out on my counter. It looks great and goes perfectly with the appliances in my kitchen.
3. Ease of cleaning. My old blender had 4 parts (blade, gasket, jar, and bottom plastic piece that held the blades and gasket). It was a pain to clean. This one-piece blade and jar makes clean-up a snap. I fill the jar with warm water and a squirt of dish washing liquid. I can drop the blender lid and plastic cap into the the jar itself - and wash everything in one quick step.
4. Jar size. I love the 56 oz. size. I can make several large-size smoothies at once.
5. The polycarbonate jar: I was really worried about this because I had always had a glass jar. I was afraid it might scratch, break, or otherwise not last as long as my old glass jar. But I decided to take a chance and really appreciate the lighter weight.
6. Pouring spout: my old blender didn’t have a spout. You were expected to pour from one of the corners - and I usually made a mess. The shape of this jar makes pouring even full loads easy to do, especially since the jar itself is light.
7. Controls: My older blender had push buttons. No matter how carefully I tried to clean it, eventually dirt, spills, whatever accumulated around the buttons and couldn’t be easily cleaned. This blender is a snap to wipe off - and no grooves that can trap food.
Cons: It is noisier than my old blender. But all the pros definitely outweigh this con

Great cuisinart blender spb 6 Pamplets
I purchased this model in chrome based on brand name four years ago. We make a lot of frozen drinks, and the spout would never pour right, with liquid running down the side into the jar base. Then when you would pick it up to pour the next time, it would pour out of the base unexpectedly and make a drippy mess. You always had to hold a towel at the base with one hand when pouring (very inconvenient). Eventually the touchpad went out, and it was a relief to see it go. How sad that a poorly designed spout ruined an otherwise great product.

vitamix turbo blend 4500 Interesting Info
I have had my Vitamix 5000 for 5 and 1/2 years and could not be happier with it. Not only does it blend full frozen bananas (see other review), the powerful motor can do a lot more.
We use our Vitamix primarily for smoothies and milkshakes, and have learned that as long as there is some liquid in the container with the ice cubes and frozen bananas it will blend all into a smooth drink with ease.
The machine is loud for sure, not something you can hold conversation over, but we’ve noted that it blends so quickly, that the moments it takes to liquify are over before we’ve forgotten what we would have said anyway.
Clean up is also amazing with the Vitamix. As the Vitamix reps demonstrate, all we’ve done to clean it up after is wipe down any smoothie residue on the outside of the spout, fill container 1/3-ish of the way up with warm/hot water and a drip of soap, then blend on high for 30-ish seconds. Every month or so I DO wash a bit more thouroughly with maybe a drip of bleach and a scrub brush. One thing to consider though, is the longer you leave your container dirty the harder it will be to clean after. If you just rinse right away, you’re golden.
I cannot rave more highly about this machine. I’m sure that the multiple hundred dollar price tag is a turn off to most if not all, but consider the time saved as well as more options for healthy beverage alternatives! We’ve loved our Vitamix and you will too!

oster blender 450 Related Guide
You could get the bright red, blue, or chrome version of this blender if you want to impress…the kids? Your cats? You could get the kind with a spout that’s impossible to clean. You COULD pay five times as much for the “As Seen On TV” deal that turns everything into either a Margarita or spongy jello.
Personally, I reccommend that if you want to make everything a blender makes, from perfect milkshakes to….well, yes, margaritas, not pay a lot for it, and have it work right every time, I’d go for this one.
It’s a no-brainer to use, stuff doesn’t stick to the sides (except peanut butter milkshakes, we did find out that peanut butter milkshakes stick to the sides, but also to the sofa and the cat) or leave a lump or ice cream in whapping about in the mixture forever and ever.
Cleaning it up is so easy I don’t even MIND doing it. It comes apart and goes into the dishwasher in about 14 seconds and comes out clean.
So far, it’s been used every day for two months without a glitch. Best 27 bucks I ever spent.

braun mx2050r powermax 5 speed jug blender Free Significant Roadmap
I use a blender about twice a day, making protein shakes for my healthy diet. Every shake has lots of ice in it which when ground up, creates a thick ice storm for the blender to whirl through. Before this blender I used a Back to Basics - Smoothie Freeze. I was pleased with it and had no real reason to get a new blender. My wife, the sweet helpmate that she is, decided to replace my smoothie maker with this new Braun blender for our 4th anniversary. Like the description says, it really is a breeze putting together, especially since it lacks the front spout that many smoothie makers have.
My first experience with it was just to blend some water…to see how the blades took action. It was a vigorous whirlwind of slicing action! The blades were of special interest to me, since they were sharp and had some serations on them. Upon my first shake blend, it made a beleiver out of me! The ice was ground within a few seconds of turning the thing on!…and I had a shake ready to drink within about 10-15 seconds. This was amazing since I was used to blending about 45 seconds in my other blender. I’ve had maybe 20 shakes made in it so far…and I am still impressed with this blender. My other blender is my backup and this one takes the front seat. I highly recommend this blender for those who make shakes and smoothies. The glass jug is heavy, but because of its shape, it causes the ingredients to blend really well.
